The Marquis offers lunch and evening meals in the cosy bars or separate dining areas every day, complimented by a wide range of Local Palmers Real Ales, Lagers and an extensive wine list.
Both our A la Carte restaurant and bar meals are freshly cooked using the freshest local meats, fish and game when in season.
Bed and Breakfast Accommodation at The Marquis of Lorne Inn. Originally a farmhouse dating back to the 16th Century, The Marquis now a Country Inn has a very good reputation for its food and ambience, a great place to stay for a relaxing short break or a longer holiday.
Our bars are called Eggardon and Pitcher, our non-smoking dining rooms are called Swyre, and Mangerton. All named after local hills. Enjoy a pre-dinner drink by the roaring log fires when cold, or alfresco in the pretty beer gardens, weather permitting.
Our room rates includes a full Home-cooked West Country breakfast. All rooms have remote control colour television, hospitality tray, complimentary toiletries, hairdryer, adjustable central heating and stunning country views. Breakfast in bed can be arranged if required at no extra cost. Why not enjoy a Sparking Seppelt Brut on ice in the room on arrival £14.95. We offer a 10% discount for stays of 5 nights or more. All of our rooms have free wireless internet connection. Out of Season special breaks are available from November to February, Sundays to Thursdays. We are a completely Non-Smoking Establishment. Sorry we are unable to accept pets or children under 10 in our rooms.
