The Inn is well positioned to visit a wealth of interesting places.
Nettlecombe is a small Hamlet with old stone cottages and a good
starting point to walk the famous Ancient Roman Hill Fort Eggardon Hill,
which has spectacular views over the coast and surrounding countryside.
The nearest shops are at Bridport, a small market town with regular local Farmers Markets' and a twice weekly street market with a great collection of antique stalls.
Powerstock, a picture postcard village is just 1/2 a mile away and has a very pretty Norman Church.
Local Beaches are easily accessible at Burton Bradstock, Eype, West Bay, which also has a small fishing port, Charmouth ,famous for its Heritage Centre and a superb area for fossil collecting, Lyme Regis, with its famous Cobb where the French Lieutenants Woman was filmed.
